Door wouldn't seal when closed

Removed the door, removed the broken part, inserted new part, used vaseline on all exposed parts and put door back on (better than new)!

lightning struck near by and kicked out the breaker to the garage. The freezer went into alarm and eventually everything melted.

A friend that is schooled in refrigeration repair trouble shot the problem for me. I got on the web site and found the part and ordered it. it came with two days so I installed it and the freezer is running fine now

ice maker not working

used nut driver to loosen 2 screws partially. slightly lifted up ice-maker and pulled out. unpluged the ice maker from socket and removed. i timed myself. 4 minutes to take out and replace new one. glad i did not call repairman. wife skeptical at first until we started hearing the ice fall.

I watched the do it yourself video which helped tremendously. My husband was busy so I was able to do it myself.

No Ice

I changed the valve but still no ice, changed the filter also. think it was just froze. could have saved me 70 bucks

Purchased a replacement part only to find the new part had push on fitting and my part has screw on fittings. Went to Youtube where Partselect had a video on how to replace the part from screw fittings to push on fittings

water valve froze and broke

took old valve off one peice of it was broke off from freeze replaced it with new valve all but one conection was quick connect electric connections were color coded quick fix works fine thanks Gary
