Door Gasket

This dishwasher door gasket, or door seal, allows the dishwasher door to have an airtight seal when closing the door. No tools are required for this installation, simply remove the existing gasket and press the replacement gasket into the channel around the door. It is recommended to clean the channel while the gasket is removed. This part may need to be replaced if the existing one is cracked, broken, or hardened, possibly causing water to leak through the door while it is running. Hose Clamp

This hose clamp is used in a wide variety of household appliances. Most often it is found in washers, dishwashers, refrigerators, freezers, dehumidifiers, garbage disposals, or air conditioners. This clamp is used to securely attach a hose to another part of your appliance, which helps prevent leaks from those connections. Depending on the appliance, it can attach hoses to drain pumps, water inlet valves, pressure switches, and injector nozzles. We recommend you refer to model-specific diagrams for appropriate uses and exact placement. This hose clamp is made of metal, and is sold individually. To access and replace this part you will need a nut driver, pliers, and screwdrivers. Before you begin any repair work, make sure you have unplugged your appliance, and shut off the water supply if applicable.

Short Dispenser Door Retaining Pin

The short dispenser door retaining pin latches your washing machine door to the hinge. If you find that your washing machine will not dispense detergent, or the lid will not latch properly, you may need to replace the short dispenser door retaining pin. This pin is less than one inch in diameter, and is the shorter of the two hinge pins. To find the larger hinge pin, search WP6-912678. This part is cylindrical and is made of metal. The short dispenser door retaining pin is sold individually. This is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer.

Wax Motor for Detergent Cup Actuation

This is a dishwasher wax motor actuator that opens the dispenser cover to dispense dishwashing detergent and rinse aid during the wash cycle in your dishwasher. This is an authentic OEM part from the genuine manufacturer. It is a little over 2 inches long, and mostly red in colour. Disconnect power from your appliance because electrical wires will be exposed during repair. The wax motor is held in place by two tabs for easy release. Once you have gained access to the actuator, simply separate the two tabs and replace the part. This part is sold separately.

Water dripping from right corner of door

Took out about 7 torx screws to remove the inner door liner. Discovered evidence of leak coming from the sop dispenser latch, and noticed the grommet had turned soft and was torn. Just took it out of the box and slid it in.
Only problem I encountered, and I think it was due to the age of the dishwasher, was the newunit was not as deep as teh original rack. This will require a new method of loading dishes. Also, the new basket doesn't really fit well in the new rack.
Still cheaper than replacing a good cleaning dishwasher! read more

I opened the end stop of the rack, replaced the roller, and put the end stop back on. I can't believe I paid the repairman the last time $125????? An he put in a regular screw that rusted and broke the roller. Took me 3 minutes! Thanks read more
