This capacitor is also known as a run capacitor, and it is most often used in refrigerators and freezers. This part provides the voltage or energy current required to start the compressor and keep it running. It allows the compressor in your appliance to easily cycle on and off. Doing so enables the appliance to effortlessly maintain its internal temperature. If the capacitor is faulty your refrigerator or freezer might be too warm, or you may notice the compressor will hum, but it will not run. When replacing your capacitor, you should check the old one for any signs of damage, overheating, or arcing, as that may suggest there is a bigger problem with your appliance.

Terminal Cover

This is a terminal cover for the compressor in a refrigerator. This covers the relay and overload switch on the compressor. Once you have gained access to the terminal cover, you will see that the cover is held on by a tension or retaining clip. Simply pop the cover off and replace with the new cover. The cover is made of plastic and is black in color. It measure less than 3 inches long and less than 3 inches wide. This is a genuine replacement part from the original manufacturer.

Gate Support - Right Hand

This gate support is designed to support the gate or fence on your vertical freezer. This part is designed for the right-hand side and differs from the left-hand side gate support. Be sure to note which side of your gate support is damaged before ordering this part. This product is sold individually. It is white in color and is made entirely of plastic. The gate support is approximately 6.5 inches in length and slightly less than an inch in width. This is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer.

I knew the chances of all the freon leaking out was unlikely so I looked at the wiring to the compressor and there was a capacitor and a starter/overload so i figured I would start there. the gasket peels back to reveal the approx 20 screwsholding gasket and door shelves. removed these. removed old gasket from door panel. new gasket needs to be stretched to get on door panel. align screw holes in door panel with screw holes in gasket. attached back to freezer door. this gasket did not seal securely when closing door. this gasket was ins... read more
