making noise, eating cloths
Turned off dryer breaker!!Pryed dryer top up and off using flat blade screwdriver, removed two philips head screws inside and top, rermoved wires for door switch. I pulled off the old drum slide and lower felt. I scraped the large left overs and used some solvent to clean the remaining fuzz. I glued the felt and slide per the instructions, applied the new parts. I waited about 30 minutes and assembled, it did make a squeaking noise for about 2 minutes. When everything seated in the noise was gone. $150.00 and simple mechanics saved me from spending more on a new dryer, mine is 15 yrs old.
