When i turn on the top oven I hear a noise that sounds like the fan blade is hitting something but it is not. No noise from bottom oven
For model number CWE5800ACB25
Hi Tony, thank you for contacting us. We would recommend checking the screws of the panel, part number PS2376544, to see if they are loose. When using gas, the oven will have small vibrations that are part of the process. However, that vibration causes the loose panel or screw to vibrate and rattle around, causing a loud noise. If the problem remains, the issue might be with the door latch, part number PS3488700. If you hear the noise coming from the front, it might be due to a loose door latch that vibrates when the unit starts. Still, if the fan blade is not hitting anything, it might cause noise due to rusting or clogging in the fan shaft. Clean it thoroughly to assure smooth functioning. We hope this information is useful!

Oven heating element blew out
Removed 2 screws, pulled element out. My husband used an ohmmeter to see if the electricity needed to be turned off. It showed no voltage. He could not remove electrical connectors by hand, so he used insulated pliers. When he touched the connectors, a shower of sparks covered the inside of the oven and tripped the breaker switch. Th

en we noticed the pliers were welded to the side of the oven. Thankfully the pliers had insulated handles and he was not hurt. It might be a good idea to put in the instructions to TURN OFF POWER TO OVEN in the breaker panel because our oven was definitely HOT. Oven works perfectly now.
