Replaced flapper, which was in surprisingly good condition. Major part of repair was removing a lot of mold incurred from long term seepage of room air into the ice channel. In the process of the repair, I discovered that the solenoid to the right of the flapper was hanging up badly. I removed it and cleaned both the plunger and the interior cone of the solenoid with alcohol. This removed quite a bit of rust and some mold. Reinstalled solenoid, replaced flapper and it works just fine. May need to replace solenoid if problem recurs. Certainly worth $37.00!

Remove front outside cover with the pictures on it. It is held in place with 5 push type pins. Remove the ice holder or turn off the power to keep the auger from running. Remove the four screws that hold the solenoid assembly and unplug the power plug. Remove the screw and small plate that holds the flapper assembly in place. Install the new flapper and spring and re-install the other parts. My flapper was loose in the holder causing the top of the flapper to hang on the hole in the ice outlet. I installed a small screw through the back of the holder to secure the flapper.

Pretty simple, just take out 2 screws and replace.

Removed control panel by inserting small screwdriver in the 3 holes underneath to loosen. Remove 4 screws holding circuit board . Unplugged 3 connectors. Removing circuit board gave access to flapper. Removed flapper by unclipping. Installed new flapper and reversed disassembly procedure. This was 2nd time in 2 years I had to replace this part.

Just as your video described, although due to the age of the fridge, it took a bit longer to remove the defective switch. Your video made this so simple, I can't imagine why we lived with a dark fridge for so long! I was ready to buy a whole new fridge, as repairmen are often nonexistent for small repairs. I am the biggest fan of your company & it's repair video. THANK YOU SO MUCH

Removed everything from freezer, Removed back panel, defrosted coils. removed thermostat top left, cut wires and used heat shrink to splice back together, clipped thermostat back on. I actually replaced the defrost timer and defrost heater also. Best bet is to do all 3 at one time. Part Select will have the new parts to you in days. Great Service and the online repair man is great. I saved hundreds of dollars doing myself.

1. Took a small screwdriver and popped off the metal trim from the handles. This allowed me access to all of the handle. 2. Using the right size Allen wrench I then removed the screws holding the handle to the door. 3. I then discarded the old handles and replaced them with the new ones, using the existing screws. 4. I then replaced the trim, making sure the trim was aligned with the slot area on the new handles..

Remove ice maker bucket. Unscrew single screw in center of shield, take out shield. Insert new shield, making sure the 2 tabs on the shield are slid into mount from the left, center the shield so center tab is aligned with screw hole, Tighten screw, replace ice bucket. SUGGESTION: This would be a good time to replace light bulb!

The part came within 3 days. But it was only one cam. Part was described assembly so i thought it had both cams. I ordered the upper cam which attached to the door bottom. When I matched the new to the old --they were different. They looked the same until you put them side by side. Being the mechanic I am, I cut the rivet holding the assembly cam and pop riveted it to the old assembly. It was not difficult but annoying as I had the correct model (I have the original use and care guide book). I must commend PartSelect for their promptness.

Ordered new Ice Maker from you and fixed the problem completely.

Watched the video supplied by manufacturer and followed the instructions. Very easy.

The trim piece covering the opening of the dispenser is the first and most difficult part of the disassembly. Take care when removing this piece that it does not break.

just i took off the actuator and replace with the new one in 8 minutes.It was so easy.
