9" Radiant Element did not heat up.
I started by Unscrewing the range top. 2 small screws. I took off the old piece by unclipping the piece . Then I color coded each wire so that I would know exactly where I would place the wires for the new part. 30 min maximum time spent changing the part. Please don't forget to unplug the range before you start.

Outer element not working
Turn off breaker to stove. Remove 2 screws in front under stove top molding. Raise stove top from front on hinges in back. I used a piece of wood to support top up while I worked on burner. Remove screws holding old burner in place. I found my problem on the old burner - the outer element had been shorted and fried. Carefully remove each wire and reinstall in new burner in proper location. Reinstall burner and stove top with old screws.

Original heating Element was burned out
1st replacement part was damaged from Shipping.
Parts Select sent a new one that i received in only a few days.
our stove is slid into a granite island so the disassembly was not as simple as most. It was necessary to remove the controls, the controls housing & screws along the top of the oven door.
Within an hour the stove was back in place and working perfectly.

Small radiant wasn't working but large was.
Ordered the dual replacement. I am 76 so I had someone else do it. It took him about 15 minutes. Just pulled the oven forward about 8" so he could lift the top up. 2 Screws to release the top. Then just removed the part and plugged in the replacement. Rescrewed the top screws and pushed the oven back.

Left front bridge element would not heat
I removed the cooktop from the countertop and propped it up with 2 1x2's on each end. I removed the Torx screws that hold the glass in place. I set the glass aside. I then removed the screws holding the cover for the switches. I set the large central burner aside. I had to spray the screws holding the switch cover in place to loosen them. I then removed the defective left front switch and replaced the it with the GE Parts Select replacement switch. I then put everything back together. Orange light "Hot Stovetop" lense broke off.
Parts arrived in record time and the right parts. The detailed diagram was so helpful in finding exactly the part I needed to order. Was so easy my girlfriend with no mechanical or electrical experience completely helped me through the entire project. She secured the electrical breaker to the range, and I had the top back to the oven removed. I showed her how the little white box simply slides off the lens cover, then replaced the new one in the holes and slide it back on. Secured the back and she turned on the breaker back on...and all lights work. Thanks for making this project easy, simple and quick.
