Oven burner only came on sporadically and would rarely heat up.
I believe my problem was both the dual outlet safety valve and the igniter It would glow but the gas wouldn't come on or if it did it was puffy not steady. Replacing the igniter was easy with a nut driver but the dual outlet safety valve took some time to get everything lined up. Also they make special Teflon tape for gas repairs which none of the other articles spoke about.

Ignitor replacement on older Jenn-Air range
The oven in my Jenn-Air range started to leak gas whenever I turned it on and a visit from the local gas company indicated the ignitor had probably gone bad. I had assumed the older range wasn't worth repairing but didn't want to spend $800+ for something in otherwise excellent condition. Internet research yielded lots of tutorials on how to make the swap and I decided to see if I could get the old part out before going any further. It wasn't too tricky except one of the two screws holding the ignitor in place had stripped and it was in a location that was very difficult to reach. I used a part of tin snips to cut around it. The new part ordered here came very quickly and exactly matched what I had removed; the wiring harness fit perfectly. It was a snap to put back in and now the oven works perfectly. All for under $50.

Oven would not heat
My oven would not come on so my wife could bake a cake. The glow coil that ignites the gas for the oven had burned out. The replacement went very easily and fast. This web site was very helpful with all the information I needed to get it up and running again. I enjoyed the cake she made after I got it fixed.

Used stove was missing 1 leg.
My used stove had been dropped by the previous owner. While I could live with the minor scratches on one side the wooden shims holding up one corner were annoying. A new leveling leg was less than $2. I used a pair of needle nose pliers to straighten the mounting hole and screwed the new leg in. This used stove was originally $2000 but I bought it for $999. the new leg plus shipping was about $10. What a deal.

broiler would lite however bake would not
I read some of the other comments and my problem seemed the same so I order the flat style igniter kit as suggested watched the video that Parts Select had, just to see any hidden tricks or tips .The installation was done in about 10 minutes it took longer to put the door and grates back in place simple. Phillips screwdriver was all I needed, I had a flashlight to see better cause my eyes aren't what they used to be

Leveling legs were broken during the summer
The range in my classroom had the leveling legs broke off by the summer staff. I ordered two new leveling legs and the night custodian replaced them in about 45 minutes and them leveled the stove. Parts were just as stated and easy to order.

oven would not lite, ignitor was turning orange
Removed oven door, pulled oven out to acess the rear of unit. Removed two screws inside the oven that connect the ignitor to the mounting bracket. Used flashlight to find plug that is connected to the ignitor located at the rear of the oven. I could see the plug in space provided in the oven rear cover plate. Did not have to remove anything to access the plug. Unplugged connector, tied string on connector and removed ignitor from inside the oven. Tied string line on new ignitor plug and pulled the new ignitor plug to the back of the oven by pulling on the string line. Connected plug and installed screws in the mounting bracket and turned on oven. It worked fine. The hardest thing to do was pull the oven from the wall and put it back. The wife had a good opportunity to clean the crap from the floor under the oven so it was good to move it out. Easy job and so far everything is ok. I am very satified with the part
