Very straight forward. Uninstalled the old corroded element by unscrewing bolt and snipped the wires that were attached. By knowing how the element came out, I was able to install the new element very easily. Just slide the wires into the holes attached to the prongs and tighten down the screw. Very easy and worked right away. My Magic Chef electric range has to be at least thirty years old. Very happy PartSelect had the right part.
