dishwasher door would not open
I had to force the door open, the latch was broken . This was the second Latch that has failed The previous time it cost me $90 plus several days to have it repaired.
I ordered the part on line about noon. The next morning UPS was at my door with a package. Talk about great service !
The install was a breeze, took about 15 minuets to remove about 8 screws and the old part and replace with the new part. Total cost was about $30...and very little down time. Great service, great company to work with !

Very hard to open dishwasher - Latch was broken
The repair was so easy. I just unscrewed the inner door panel , unplugged the old latch, attached the new and put the panel back. Thanks to all the other comments which gave me the confidence to attempt this repair. The hardest part was disconneting the old electric connections but with a little bit of "coaching" they came off OK. Thanks again.

Easy fix for a broken door latch
Removed the screws that attach the inside of the door, keeping them in order. Two are longer. The part is loose at that point and the wires un clip with a little pull with a needle nose. Replaced with the new part, re screwed and good as new. oh and turned off the breaker before disassembly.

Dishwasher difficult to open due to broken latch
Disconnect power first. Removed all the screws on the inside of the door, pulled the inside part of the door away from the front part to gain access to the latch, disconnecting the wires was the most difficult part since the connectors didn't want to slide off the metal tabs very easily, replaced the latch and put everything back together. When I ordered the part, I wasn't sure if it was going to be just the handle, but I was glad it was the entire latch assembly.

The black latch broke where the metal pin goes through it
I first took of the inside door panel approx 9 screws. The latch assy was the top of the door panel that I took off. Took the wires off both side of the assy and attached them to the new assy. I re-attached the inside door panel. it was a very easy fix. No other dealers in the area had the part. I order the part from parts select and was back in action within three days.

Latching mechanism broke / door would not close.
Removed the 11 torx screws from the door panel and separated the inner door from the outer panel to expose the latch mechanism. Killed power to d/w, unplugged the two interlock switches from the old latch and removed it. Installed the new switch assembly and reconnected the switches. Easiest repair job ever - took less than 10 minutes. Only catch is that you need a T-20 torx driver for the screws.

Dishwasher door hard to open
Simple repair. First and most important: Turn off the power at the circuit breaker panel. Next, remove 8-9 torx head screws holding the inside panel on the door. Pull the handle assy. away from the door and unplug the two electrical plugs from the handle. Mark or remember which side each goes on. Plug the two electrical plugs into the new handle assy. and place in back into it's position in the door and reassemble the door panel. Turn the power back on at the breaker box.

Dishwasher door was hard to unlatch
Unfortunately I’d done this repair before. It seems that this particular part has cheap plastic components inside and seems wear out every 2 or 3 years. The fortunate thing is PartSelect stocks this part, ships it quickly and it’s an easy repair. Just take the screws out of the inner door liner and pull out the latch, disconnect the wires and reconnect to the replacement and screw everything back like it was. Took me 10 minutes.

The top track rail broke so had to replace with new ones so we could slide the top rack in and out.
First emptied and removed the rack from the dishwasher. then removed the broken track rails. and the end posts from the broken track rails. Put one end posts in the track rail and then placed track rail onto rack and placed in the washer. Then placed the other end posts so the track rail would stay in place when pulled out.
That was it
