Just like the viedo said, release the springs holding the top, remove the screws and replace the hinge. Put the top back on by snapping back into place.

Took off pre wash vessel from top of agitator. With the aid of a small socket unbolted and removed agitator. Fitted new replacement, took less than fifteen minutes, including unpacking the new part. The delivery of which was incredibly quick.

I don't think I have a lot to add, there are some great instructions and comments already on the site. Our washing machine is getting a little old but this was a fairly easy fix. Our washing machine was constantly off balance and walking across the floor. I can't believe how much of a difference these little parts made. It saved us a ton of money so thank you PartsSelect!

was really easy. I watched the video and was done in less than 10 minutes. I read other stories and pushing the tub over and removing and installing the screws would have been very difficult. Opening the lid was very easy then the screws are right there in front of you.

After pulling the front panel off the washer, I determined the source of the smell and smoke to be the motor. I reviewed partselect.com troubleshooting page for burning smell and found that the motor was the second highest cause for this occurence. The first was a worn belt. I was certain it was the motor, but double checked the belt. The belt is still good. My next step was to watch the video on partselect.com to determine if this was a project within my capabilities. After viewing the video, I placed my order with standard shipping on Thursday at 10pm est. The motor arrived on Tuesday evening via UPS at 6:00 pm. I started the installation at 9:30 pm after the kids were put to bed. The dismantling and reinstallation was exactly as viewed on the video. By 10 pm I was reinstalling the front panel. This was two weeks ago with an average of 2-3 loads a day and not another issue with the burning smell or smoke. Partselect.com saved me a couple hundred dollars in appliance repair service costs and several hundred if I would have purchased a new washer. I will definately keep partselect.com in my favorites for the next appliance repair.

real easy ,turned it over on it front , the bump and belt are on the bottom of washer 3 outside screws to remove plate cover, 3 bolt to remove pump, 2 clamps on hoses, im done, works grate tks. partselect. for fast shipping and having them in stock.

unscrewed back cover 3 screws then unscrewed 3 screws holding pump, pulled off belt replaced pump, put screws on, and then belt, then turned on machine no problems, put back plate on and it worked ...great job , I did this with 1 are in a sling so that's why it took 1 hour..

Initially, it was uncertain how to remove the front panel. There were hidden clips that I was unaware of. But, the video on partsselect's website was excellent. It gave me the confidence exactly what to component to purchase and how to repair my washer. My repair was identical to the drain pump video and had no issues what so ever.

Disconnected hoses and power cord, pulled washer into hall area, laid towels down to soak up any residual water and tilted washer onto its face or front side. Removed lower panel on back of washer with three screws to expose pump and hoses, removed belt from underneath, removed three screws from pump base with nutdriver and two hoses with spring clamps with pliers. Installed hoses with spring clamps with pliers, slid pump into place per alignment pins on the base, installed the three screws on the pump base with nutdriver, installed rear panel with three screws with nutdriver. Installed belt and titled into upright position, slid back into place, hooked up the hoses then cord and did a load of laundry just like it was new.

Followed video instructions. Most difficult part was re-installing the E-clip on the bearing.

Tilt washer back to expose the bottom. Remove broken belt. Install new one. Do a test run: Washer is back to working fine. Note: My boyfriend actually did the repair while I was at work, but reported that I could have done it myself easily. Also: FedEx delivered the part on a Saturday without an extra delivery charge, so my washer was repaired several days sooner than I anticipated. Thanks, PartSelect!

just a matter of 1 screw to remove and replace part ordered part 1 day and came in next day with regular mail. was a surprise for my daughter, she went on vacation and i fixed while she was gone. she was using different items to place in slot to engage each cycle.

I watched the video. Not as easy to hand start the screws ,as shown, in the new hinges (I replaced both) I used a drill with a phillips bit to pre start the screws with the hinge in a vise. It then had threads cut, which made it possible to hand start, and I finished with the drill/bit to tighten up.

I followed the instructions posted on the partselect.com website. 1. Turned off the water. 2. Unscrewed the fill hoses, and drain hose. There was a bit of water to drain from each, so I used a bucket. 3. Next I lifted the top of the washer and used a 5/16 nutdriver to take out the two screws holding on the front panel. 4. I then separtated the tub-to-pump hose, and the fill level tube. 5. I then took out all six of the suspension springs. 6. I then tipped the washer back, (with a helper) and removed the drive belt. 7. Then I took out the tub, through the top and set it upside down on the floor. 8. I loosened the six screws around the drive pulley, to release the Snubber ring. **VERY IMPORTANT** DO NOT TAKE THE SIX SCREW ALL THE WAY OUT!! 9. I walked the Snubber ring out and put the new one on, making sure it stayed even all the way around. 10. I tightened the six screws back up and put the tub back into the washer cabinet, being careful not to damage the plastic pulley on the bottom of the tub. 11. I installed the new (6) suspension springs. 12. I re-attached the tub-to-pump hose, and the fill level tube. 13. I re-attached the drain hose and the fill hoses. 14. Turn on the washer, check for leaks and you should be good to go. The washer works as good as new, I am very pleased.

The old worn belt came off with little difficulty, using the screw driver to coax it over the wheel. And the new one went on just as easy.
