back burn would turn high no mater where you set the control knob.
Well I was just guessing the controll switch was bad so I ordered a new one. So I cut off the power and held the switch close to the old one and changed the wires one at a time matching the connection terminals and cut the power back on and presto it WORKED..The service man wanted to charge me 65.00 dollars just to check it out. I figure I saved about 100.00 dollers plus I learned something.

one of the four burners was not working
Very simple---shut off the power, removed six screws, detached five wires, replaced control switch, put everything back together, turned on power and made husband happy!!!

Door comes down to fast, Broken Door Assist Spring
Turn off power at breaker
Turn off water supply
Remove 2 screws at baseboard plate
Remove 2 mounting screws attaching machine to floor
Open door, remove 2 mounting screws attaching machine to bottom of counter
Disconnected water line
Carefully pulled machine out about 8 inches to expose broken spring
Attached new spring using directions included with package from PartSelect
Reassembled in reverse order
Check for water leak before attaching baseboard plate
Turn off water supply
Remove 2 screws at baseboard plate
Remove 2 mounting screws attaching machine to floor
Open door, remove 2 mounting screws attaching machine to bottom of counter

Carefully pulled machine out about 8 inches to expose broken spring
Attached new spring using directions included with package from PartSelect
Reassembled in reverse order
Check for water leak before attaching baseboard plate

Front right burner did not turn on
We followed the instructions on the video after receiving our part - they were perfect instructions and led us right through the repair. I have to say it would have been harder to do with one person - but probably doable.

Downdraft switch on the top of the JennAir inkoperative.
I verified that there was current running to the switch.
Ordered a new switch,
Replaced the switch.
Had a little problem getting the oneway washers off the pegs but not much.
Saved the cost of a repair man and felt good about myself!

Burner only operated on high, no medium or low heat.
First I moved the left rear burner to the right front. No change. Then I moved the burner units from left to right, No change. I guessed it was the control switch and ordered from PartSelect. Turnaround time from PartSelect was excellent.
I turned off the powerr to the range. Removed the screws holding on the front panel and then pulled the panel out far enough to see behind it. I located the faulty control switch and then held the new switch, next to it, and turning to proper orientation. I then, one at a time moved the wires to the new switch. After that it was mount the new switch, put the panel back in place and turn on the power.

The paint had chipped and peeled on the inlet grill
I lifted off the old grill and replaced them with the new ones. My stove top looks great again. If I could find them, I would like to replace the knobs to turn on the gas!

a few months ago, my daughter-n-law and I were hitting up tacos on the grill----the grates melted ---I thought I would have to purchase all of the parts even though only the grates were ruined---I am very pleased with my find with you.
just laid them down on top of burner and coals,----easiest installation ever----We are already grilling ----this is just like grilling outside but in AC
