The dryer door wouldn't stay closed.
There is a plastic female closure part in the dryer door that wouldn't close tightly around the metal male closure on the dryer. I popped out the plastic square with a screwdriver, popped the new plastic closure in with my thumb. Works great. I never even installed the new metal portion of the latch.

Lent filled dryer CAUSING A FIRE
I moved cross country in to a rental property. Upon using the dryer the first time I noticed the defective broken lent filter. A five year old child would could have told it was trash and I needed a new one. Because of the condition of the lent trap it was obvious it had been used in this condition years. I inspected further to find so much lint [as far as my hand inside the unit] comprised so much I could not pull any out. I informed landlord that very moment of the damaged part and the comprised lent telling them it needed to be addressed Asap because THIS IS A FIRE HAZARDED !!! The notice and warning was ignored. With a baby and 13 loads stacked up. I had forgot that I had dryed a load of baby blankets and checked the dryer for a missing blanket to find one was scorched . Inspected the dryer to find a burned spot in the back this was where the blanket was scorched.INFORMING LANDLORDS THAT VERY MOMENT. A company came out cleared the lent from the dryer and house to outside, BOTH WERE FULL AND BLOCKED this was the cause of the Fire. Well if you haven't figured it it out the landlord left it up to me to find and replace the lent trap, they would pay for it. So a two min.search on the internet by model number of my dryer lead me to Part Select I typed in my model number my whole unit was displayed. I scrolled to my lent trap clicked on it I was given the price shipping date, cost and date range .I went to check out.received a confirmation email in two min.. My part shipped out a day early. I got a email letting informing me of part shipping out. The part arrived two days later. I open the box the packing was outstanding! Directions for installation were there plain and easy to understand. Five min. after the box was open I now had a dryer !!!! The part search, part location, order check out took less than ten min......impressive . I was keep informed of every movement of my part from the completion of check out. My total time spent on this part was 20 min.!!! Although this dryer ran last while sleeping and new baby in the home caught fire and we were lucky no one died, for a simple 20 min. $46.00 and 4 day part replacement. Funny thing is I think I found the part with another sight for $11.00. Idid not trust that find. Some times service and dependable service is worth every penny . This day forward I and anyone I talk to will go to PartSelect for all of our needs as I hope you will. PartSelect won't disappoint or let you down.............Order install and be happy.Don't let this happen to you why would you when you have PartSelect they could save your life .

I broke the door strike on the dryer.
Wife was out of town, visiting family. I broke the door strike by wedging the dryer door between the laundry room door, closed the laundry room door and it snapped the door strike breaking it. I ordered the part, and it shipped fast using the standard shipping, nothing fancy. Grabbed a pair of pliers and pushed the new door strike into place. It snapped right in, fits and works perfect like nothing ever happened. The wife will never know :)
