GE refer ice and water kept running
I researched the issue on line and replaced the microswitch. I didn't test the part since it was so inexpensive and the whole process only took me about 15 minutes to complete. I didn't know "where" the microswitch was located until I watched your video, a very helpful tool. Thanks PartSelect, the part arrived 3 days after I ordered it.Mike in Spokane, WA

iCE MAKER LEAKING WATER
Followed the video demo and would have been done sooner but for limited work space- narrow freezer compartment and the release tabs on the electrical plug. First home repair that the air was not blue and got done in under time allocated.

broken auger blade
being a service tech for 3 apt. complexs & chief engineer for the Hilton ,this was easy. The only thing you have to remember is how the crush ice blades go back in place. use a dig. cam. if you can't remember.All the rest is common sense

changed sensors did not repair problem,replaced damper with mechanical damper fixed problem.

Ice maker failed. Easy to diagnose cooling coil was very hot
Seemed simple and intuitive B U T the water tube receiver fooled me. Seemed to be on backwards. So, like my wife suggested, I D I D then read the installation instructions. Yeah! It's amazing what you can do when you just RTI. :-0

The end of the plastic auger had broken off
Watched the video I found at PartSelect when I ordered the part. Let the ice bucket warm to room temp and disassebled as the video suggested and reassembled with the new part. Knew there would be several parts to the ice crusher and important to get back in order because of the video.

drawer slides broken
took olde out simple replacement. didnt need bearing slide already in parts.

Door for ice maker sticking and not wanting to shut
Removed front control panel for depensing ice. Removed solenoid and replaced with new. Replaced tention spring for door. Took approx. 20 min. to complete job

a piece of the plastic auger broke off
My husband did the repair while I was at work, he said it was a bit difficult. The ice bucket had to be taken apart, but it is working fine now.

freezer cold fridge warm loud squeeling noise
i followed a video that was on your site, the video couldn't have been easier to follow it was step by step and very easy to follow, i replaced the evaporator fan motor and everything is working fine, i did notice that the evaporator coil was frozen pretty bad when i removed the back freezer panel i am going to check it again in a couple of weeks to make sure i don't have a defrosting problem as of now everything is fine i am hoping it was just the bad fan motor causing the coil to freeze up because of no air movement over the coil

Both right lower drawer rails cracked over time
