Compressor Relay and Overload Kit

The compressor relay and overload kit is an assembly for your refrigerator. The function of the overload is to protect the compressor from overheating by being mounted to the side of the compressor. The purpose of the relay is to boost the compressor. This assembly comes with two smaller plastic pieces that are less than two inches by one inch. One is black and the other is white. The kit also comes with a red wire tubing. The most common reason for needing to replace the overload and relay is if your fridge is too warm or will not start.

Water Inlet Hose Washer

If your clothes washer is leaking, it is likely that there could be an issue with one of the hoses. If the hoses are in working order, you should check the washers connecting the hose to your unit. Rubber washers are tasked with enhancing the seal between the hose and washer. A faulty or damaged washer will not be able to perform this properly, and water will be able to leak from the poor connection. The condensation then builds up and lands into this bucket. The bucket catches the water that drips from the evaporator. First I removed the relay and over load and exam. Saw that the relay was burnt. Before I order the part I check to see if the compressor was still working by jumping the common start and run terminals.It did. I also checked the start capacitor with a capacitor tester it was good. I than order the part which came the very next day.Installed the part read more

The repair was easy......however I had no help to identify the problem and after I did I had no description or schematic of how to connect the parts. The old defective part was not identical to the new one. some written material would have been helpful.

Checked compressor with amp meter, and found it was not running, found Overload Switch bad.
When removing old switch watch carefully which lug you move wires from, so you will know which
lug to put the new switch on.
