Refrigerator runs warm/ freezer running cold.
I spent several hours defrosting the unit. Making sure the vents were all defrosted and free of ice. The part replacement is fairly straight forward; remove the thermostat, cut two wires, reconnect the wires following color codes, attach to coil and restart. And, "Yippie!". Nothing. Zilch. Zero. Because I could not connect with the online repairman, I spent 40 bucks for nothing; problem was not resolved. Thanks for taking my money. I'm bummed and with just a little less money in my pocket. Never again will I ever purchase another Whirlpool product. Or buy from your outfit again (because of the over priced part). I replaced a 25 year old 'working' General Electric fridge for this junk that sat in the warehouse for four years before this was delivered to me in 2018 and sold to me as a "new" appliance. This was found out only when it crapped out and I needed to have it checked out for repair. Oh yea, I only had the comment section and the part recommendation to go by, and the latest comments are at least two years old. I'll be surprised if this even gets posted.

Fridge door not closing properly.
Romove food and shelves from the door. Remove the 4 screws on the top hinge and higne cover. My door stayed closed but you may need an extra person to hold the door. Lift the door off of the bottom hinge. Replace the parts and re-install. Under 15 minutes total by myself. The door weighs around 20 punds I would guess but again a second person due to the size might be helpful for some.

Refrigerator gradually got really loud so I opened the back and found the source of noise.
I just watched the repair video and did exactly the same thing. One difference was that I disconnected the old fan motor while waiting for the new fan motor to arrive. I just placed and ran a small household fan behind the fridge to act as a replacement so I wouldn't have to listen to that loud fan motor in the interim. Easy fix with simple tools.

There is a catch on left side..
I don’t know if this is because of inner slider to adjust humidity but fits good enough. And the fridge is very old. Probably from 1980’s Slid new drawer in
