Remove plug in unit from stove top. Turn over and remove the 7 screws from the 4 sides only. Turn back over holding unit together manually. Remove the glass top gently and lay it aside. Removed the bottom cover and replaced the burned contact spade. Cleaned the wires and adjust the contact holder. read more

I first removed the plug in module on the left hand side. I then removed the six screws holding the tempered glass in place. Lifting straight up it then exposed the two elements. I unplugged the two wires connecting the large broken element and lifted up gently thus enablying the two loosely mounted screws to come out of their mounting bracket. I took those... read more
