I was able to remove the top cover by unscrewing 10 srews. Once the cover was off I removed the plastic shield above the damaged switch. Then unplugged the 2 wires off the switch. Pulled the faulty switch out. Replaced it with the new switch and plugged in the 2 wires. Reinserted the plastic cover put the top cover on and put the screws
