Fan blade was broken

Took cabinet off. Loosened rear condenser and moved it out of the way. Took fan blade off of motor shaft and replaced. Actually broke off small part of blade hub tapping it on to the shaft with a hammer - use a block of wood to protect! read more

Removed 10 screws holding fan schroud,top brace,and condenser. Remove schroud from condenser and push back toward fan motor. Pull condenser gently away from fan far enough to remove spring clip from old fan with pliers. Tap on old fan blade hub lightly until it comes off.
