There are two screws that holds the panel on. I took the screws out pulled the panel and attachments out. Removed the attachments from the old panel put them on the new panel. It was really easy to figure out how to fit the pieces back together. Screwed the panel and attachments back into to place and perfect. I Put the door back on the deli tray. No readjusting was necessary at all good as new fits great no problems. You pull the tray out the door flips up every thing works fine.

The pnatry end cap broke within the first year of owning the refrigerator...because of that the lower veggie bin door has not connected to the side for the past 2-3 years! A visiting friend said the same thing had happened to their refrig and that she ordered a part on line and repaired it herself.

  • Customer: Cathy from Boscobel WI
  • Difficulty: Easy
  • Time to Complete: 15 - 30 mins
  • Tools Required: Socket set

The repair was very straight-forward with using a socket set to remove the side panel and replace it. This also gave be a chance to give the refrig a good cleaning:) I was a bit worried about "popping" the cover in place, but it went in smoothly. I have decided that one of the causes of the breakage was lifting the cover manually and not allowing it to open automatically as the veggie drawer was opened. Hopefully, this will prevent future issues. I'm SO glad I found your site and will definitely use it again and refer friends!

My only thought is this is the third end cap I have had to replace not very sturdy construction where the lid hangs
