Broken drawer
I was opening the bottom pull-out as my girlfriend had open the veggie drawer above it, without realizing that the lid would swing up. In other words, on this French door fridge, you can only open one drawer at a time, all the while dumping all the cold air out at once. Im not sure why this model is popular! But its a two door top with bottom freezer, new and expensive, and on Martha's Vineyard-a shipping nightmare (planes, trucks, ferries, more trucks). I was visiting and needed to make amends for busting things up, and quick, before leaving to go home. My boyfriend found PartSelect online, I made an order at 247pm on Thursday (cut off for "next-day" is 3p, so you didn't guarantee it would come before Monday), but the warehouse shipped it anyway by 630p Friday evening, on island! The parts were cheap at about $25 each, the instructions were do-able, the blow out diagram online made it easy to know what I needed, and the whole thing was good-as-new in 48 hours. What a godsend! Thanks PartSelect, for saving me! For $75! Woohoo- (I'll take care of the boyfriend...)

Freezer seal was broken
Thanks to some reviews we found online about replacing gaskets, ours went very smoothly. One person said to soak the gasket in hot water, which we did til it was very soft. Installed like a breeze. Then, the same person said to tape the door closed after installation, we did that too. The gasket looks like it was professionally installed and we have never done it before. Thanks!

Lights flashing and ice door flapping(High voltage board) no cooling!
Unplugged fridge, took stainless steel panel off rear of fridge, with 1/4" socket!Removed plastic cover and unplugged 4 connectors! Pushed on 2 plastic release locks at left end of board! Be careful and do this slowly, so plastic will start to flex a little at a time! Pull board out and put on grounded wrist anti-static strap and ground to metal on fridge before handling new board! Put board in and connect the wiring, which is easy as they can only be plugged in where they were removed because of plug configurations! Put plastic cover back in place and replaced steel plate! Follow instructions that come with board to program the code that is on label inside fridge! Set code with doors open! And then your good to go!

Failed overload/relay start capacitor
Apparently, the manufacturer sometimes substitutes a part but keeps the same number, which is what happened here. The part wouldn't fit in the actual space on this model--even though the number was apparently correct! Refunding my money and assisting me to contact the manufacturer directly couldn't have been easier! Impressive customer service in a difficult situation.

Pivot Block not operating french door hinge
The pivot block looked slightly worn because the hinge door mechanism on the left door would not "close" when the door was opened. I bought the pivot block, but the fix is adjusting the dual french doors so they are even i n height at the top of the unit. Pivot block is a 2 minute job with screwdriver. Adjusting the height is a 5 minute job with nut driver.

Tab that holds pop-up drawer front broke off
Simply remove the two fruit/vegie drawer and the glass pantry top. Lift off the front support for the glass. Using a nut driver, remove the 2 screws that hold the pantry cap onto the side of the fridge then remove the end cap and temperature control. Remove the two screws that hold the drawer slide to the end cap and transfer to the new end cap. Now transfer the temperature control slides from the old end cap to the new. Some twisting and bending of the plastic slides will be necessary so be carefull not to push too far and break them. Reverse the removal until everything's back together.
