Crisper slider and Pantry end cap broke
Ordered parts. They were here in 1 day. Followed directions on internet. Crisper slider took 10 seconds to replace after removing crispers and cover glass. The pantry end cap was replaced exactly as shown on the web site and took less than 5 minutes. Be careful putting cover back on the end cap because you do not want to snap the nib again.

LED Lights flashing on front and fan not running and ice dispenser door flopping uncontrolablly
I downloaded a troubleshooting manuel and went through the diagnostics. All tests checked normal except the Ref. circulating fan, there is a high speed test with voltage check and a low speed test with voltage check. The voltage was out of range for both tests which lead me to the high voltage control board as the problem. I ordered a Ref. circ. fan just to have because it is such a crucial device for the proper operation of the appliance.

One of the pins holding the door to the Chef's Pantry door broke
Pins holding the door in place are part of the plastic end cap on either side of pantry drawer. Very easy to replace. Need only to remove two bolts holding the broken end cap in place, remove the drawer slide from that piece by removing two more bolts, reinstalling the drawer slide on the replacement end cap, and reinstalling the new end cap. Part was surprisingly cheap and arrived much sooner than indicated.

The plastic tab that holds the deli drawer cover broke off
Removed crisper drawers, removed glass shelf and deli drawer and cover. Remove screws holding the sliding attachment and pantry end. After taking the old pantry end off I noticed that there was a plastic insert that went from the front to the rear, made a 90 degree turn and went to the rear area of the unit and was used to control the temp in the deli drawer. Took a little while to figure out how it worked and finally put it all together and reversed all of the steps taken to replace everything. Once I figured out the temp control slide it was easy to get it back together.

Freezer Cold/Frig Warm
One mnorning the temp on the frig was in the 50's and the freezer was cold. Tried to get someone to come out and repair with no luck. We purchased a new frig. Then I decided to see if I could repair the old one to use. I wish I had discovered partselect before I bought the new one. First I thought from the web site that it was a overload/relay problem so I ordered it and changed it out and it was very easy. Then that did not correct the problem so I checked further and discovered that it could be the defrost heat element and thermostat. On partselect web site I saw where if your coil is covered in ice that this could be the reason. I ordered them and watched the video of how to change them out. The video is a little misleading because chances are you will not have the room around the coil that it shows on the video and also the element and thermostat will not come as one unit as shown on the video. It is still easy to cut the wires ont he thermostat and install it. The heat element is a little tricky to get out and back in and the clips that holds yours might be a little different and more difficult to do than the video but you can do it. All in all I spent about 160. 00 And the frig is working like new.

rust on the shaft in bottom drawer freezer
Thanks to a very patient husband. He looked at the situation and methodically took the freezer drawer apart by trial and error and was able to replace the old shaft with the one we had ordered. We do not understand why this basic information is not in the manual or on the internet. It was relatively easy once we knew in what order to take the drawer apart.
