This device acts like a clock. It continually advances and alternates between activating the cooling cycle and the defrost heater.

This door gasket is used to seal the freezer door when closed to keep the cool air inside and the room air out.

Evaporator Fan Motor with Wire Harness - 115V

This evaporator fan motor is located in the back of the freezer, and circulates air over the coils. These coils will convert the heat into cool air, which is then circulated.

After getting wiring diagram off internet it was diagnosed as freezer stuck in defrost mode, temp alarm on, but fan running.

Turned gray knob on defrost timer (located bottom left back of freezer) past defrost position to verify compressor would would not, but fan would run. Tested run capacitor...found borderline defective (weak, wrong value ohm meter kick). The repair was as easy as removing three phillip head screws for each slide rail and removing and replacing the broken slide rail. However, over the years, the walls of the freezer had bowed making the drawer a bit short to ride on the new rails -- causing the drawer to fall off the slide rails since the span between each rail was now wider than the basket.... read more

I accidently threw away both freezer keys to our upright Gibson and G.E. Freezers!!!!
