Ice maker stopped working.
For some time my ice maker would leak and form a block of ice in the bin. But since it still made useable ice, I just lived with it. Then it stopped working all together. I took it out and cleaned it a couple of times, but it would only cycle one or two times before stopping. I was really skeptical that the new ice maker would solve the problem, but I tried it anyway. It has been in about 3 weeks now working like a charm. No leaks and cycles perfectly. Easy installation, works perfectly and solved all my ice maker troubles.

The small projection that holds the lid to the deli drawer broke off. The other side broke off before and I replaced the right end cap at that time
I removed the vegetable drawers and glass. Removed the deli drawer and glass. I then used a small nutdriver to remove the small hexhead screw. Once removed I unscrewed the metal slider and screwed it to the new part. I screwed the new part in where I removed the old one. It was pretty easy. I just wish they made that part that breaks off so easily out of metal. I am frustrated by the number of times I need to replace it. PartSelect is great at delivering the part fast.

Ice cubes frozen together.
Biggest problem was unplugging the snap in wire connector behind the ice maker. Otherwise the repair was straight forward.

icemaker just quit making ice
my husband just took the motor off the existing maker and decided the front part of the unit was bad, I ordered it and it came in about 3 days he put the new front on it and screwed the unit back in the freezer, was about 4 screws I think. Didnt take too long but I would bet the next time it would be easier. Thank you

Was not making ice
Real simple: Unplugged refrigerator at wall. I just removed cover by wiggling it off and removed three phillips head screws, lined up shaft with motor assembly slot and screwed in the three screws, plugged in and waited to make ice. Wasn't sure if it was going to work took about a day for ice to be made consistently. My repair man gave me an estimate of $185.00 parts/labor I did it for $65.00. This is the second time I have had to replace this part. This refrig. is about 15 yrs. old and still works great.

Plastic hinge point had broken off of crisper drawer.
Repair was easy. I removed the food from tha refer and backed out four screws that help end cap in place. I replaced part and screwed it back in using a little locltite on the screws so they didn't work their way out. I then snapped the cover back onto the hinge points and put the food back in the refrigerator. Done

Icemaker was slow to make ice and flooded bin
Removed 1 lower screw with nut driver, pushed up and away from inner panel, unplugged harness and it was ready to come out. Reused old wiring harness and end cap. Reinstalled icemaker, it took about 24 hours to start making ice(to fill bin) and now everything works like its supposed to.

Ice maker was overflowing water into the ice tray.
Per the instructions I shut the power off to the refrigerator, took the ice cube tray out. I disconnected the electrical connector to the ice maker, removed the 1 screw holding it in place. I then lifted the old ice maker off the 2 tabs and out it came. I reversed the above steps and turned the power back on....It was making ice again in about 3 hours.

Ice maker not making ice
When the ice maker stopped making ice I decided to try to fix the problem myself and save some money in the process. I found out it was really easy to repair, especially after I went to partselect web site and found the part. It took me less than 30 minutes to do the repair and install the new control and motor assembly. Thanks to partselect.com I saved $145.00 serviced call and labor.I would rate partselect.com a ten. Thanks again.
