Water leak in ice compartment
Trouble shooting was the difficult part. All advice was to replace the valve but water did not leak with icemaker removed. Found the release coating in the icemaker tray had cracked and peeled away. Since this is also the water seal, the tray would drip water after filling, before freezing. The new icemaker solved the problem.

The icemaker would not make ice cubes.
My husband took out the icemaker, and removed the motor assembly. He tested the old motor and it was burned out. When we received the new motor,in only four days,he put the new motor assembly in and we now have ice again. After checking many supply sites we came across this site and it was the only one that said we could purchase the motor assembly without purchasing a new ice maker. Parts Select showed a picture and I was sure it was the right part. Thank you Parts Select!

Fridge Pantry door-hinge broken
First off. Huge kudo's to partselect.com! I ordered the part Friday morning choosing the standard shipping, not only did it arrive in 1 day, it was delivered on a Saturday! I could not believe how fast it arrived.

I had already replaced the right side pantry end cap, so this was a no brainer. (Yeah, I have 2 young kids, ages 3 and 4, that love to close the fridge door while the pantry is open. arghhh...) The left side is easier, because you don't have to worry about the climate controls for the pantry.

Simple install process. Remove the pantry drawer by sliding it all the way out and lifting a bit. Remove the fruit and vegetable drawers. Remove the glass shelf that sits above the pantry (careful, it is glass!) Remove the 2 white brackets that secure the glass shelf, 1 in front and 1 in the way back. Unscrew the end cap. To put it back together, follow the instructions in reverse order.

Thanks PartSelect.com!!!

The hinge pin had broken
After receiving the replacement part, I took out the crisper drawers and glass shelf. TakI unsrewed two bolts using a socket set. It was literally longer to grab the socket set in the basement or take out the drawers than it was to remove the broken part. The new piece went in as easily as the old came out.

Fortunately, there was very little cleaning and the job was done before my wife even noticed I was working on it.

A door pin had broken off of the RH enc cap.
I removed 2 trays and a glass plate. Then removed the broken cap. I removed the tray slide hardware from the broken enc cap and installed it on the new end cap. Then installed the end cap in the refrigerator and replaced the glass plate and 2 trays.

Everything fit properly and the job took about 20 minutes.

a gremlin (must have been as no one in the household acknowledged being the culprit) broke the peg off the "door' on the large meat drawer, causing the door to fall off every time we went to open the drawer.
I checked the part I needed on line, ordered it and it got here really fast. I emptied the shelves above the meat drawer so I could easily remove the meat drawer and shelf. I was able to remove the left side pantry drawer by using a nutdriver to remove the screws. I put the new part in place, replaced the screws and we were back in business! It took about 45 minutes primarily because I washed down the shelves as I went.
