How to clean filter
For model number ADEW50LQQ1
Hello Peter,
Thank you for your question. Cleaning the filter is quite simple, you would wash it gently under a warm water. Another option is to use a vacuum cleaner on it's lowest setting. We hope this helps you.

1st of all, glued the broken prong that secured the float. Worked temporarily before breaking again. Started to trash the dehumidifier then looked online using the Model number. Parts select appeared thru the search and to my surprise, the part was available for under $20.00.
Ordered part and replaced it with ease. Works gr

my model is so old it is no longer part of the GE inventory but looking at the photos on line - which are very good and detailed - and chatting with on line help decided to go ahead and order and it fit perfectly
