The motor runs but the bucket collects no water.

Hello Kelly, thank you for reaching out to PartSelect. Make sure the float switch, part number PS3512331, is not stuck and the drain pipe is not clogged. Clean the air filter and the dehumidifier’s coils. Glad to be of assistance!
1st of all, glued the broken prong that secured the float. Worked temporarily before breaking again. Started to trash the dehumidifier then looked online using the Model number. Parts select appeared thru the search and to my surprise, the part was available for under $20.00.

my model is so old it is no longer part of the GE inventory but looking at the photos on line - which are very good and detailed - and chatting with on line help decided to go ahead and order and it fit perfectly
