Handle broke
My boyfriend easily took out the existing handle/latch and replaced with the new handle/latch. Partselect made it very simple to locate which handle/latch I needed, as I had the model # of my dishwasher. I called Customer Service to verify this part would fit with my model # and they said, 'yes,' with confidence. They were right! I will definitely use Partselect again.

Broken handle
My son-in-law made quick work of it - less than 10 minutes. Being a master mechanic he did beat the time of the 67 year old female but not by much! Seriously the part was quickly delivered, easy to install and everything went very well.We are very satisfied and pleased to save a repair bill.

Our dishwasher was not heating up to dry dishes
All steps were easy except the Maytag layout made it hard to get to the fittings to remove and reconnect the water line. After that we just moved the dishwasher from beneath the counter and laid it down on the front. Removing and testing the old heater element was easy. The hardest part of installing the element was the odd clips inside the dishwasher. I need to return the o-ring and nuts because you included them with the heating element.

Latch replacement
Reviewing the process on You Tube saves a lot of time. It took more time to find the correct circuit breaker for the dishwasher than the repair itself; that easy. Thanks.

removed door liner and removed and replaced the electronic control board. reinstalled door liner and reconnected electrical power by closing the circuit breaker. Started the dishwasher and ran it through a normal wash cycle to flush out and clean the dishwasher. All operations were normal. Piece of cake repair thanks to your troubleshooting guide. The door latch broke again.
This is the 2nd time I replaced the door latch assembly. It's an easy job with the removal of about a dozen torx screws and then using the pliers, I pulled off the two extremely tight electrical connectors. Reassembly is just as simple and easy. No adjustments are needed.

failed door latch
I turned off the circuit breaker. Then I removed the screws on the inside of the loading door. I removed the latch by unpluging the switches. I then pluged in the new switches, aligned the latch and replaced the door screws. I turned on the breaker and tried the latch and I was done.

rinse water very dirty leaving crud on dishes
I first ran a cycle of clear glass to verify that there was something wrong. I pulled an exploded parts diagram off the internet to see what parts there were and to give me an idea how everything came apart. I slowly took piece by piece< keeping all screws seperated with the part they belonged with. I set the parts in the order they came out so I knew what way they would have to be returned to the machine. I cleaned and inspected all parts to ensure they were in working order. When I removed the accumulator filter I noticed all the screens were caked with what appeared to be soap scum. I then noticed one of the screens was tore away from the filters body about a half inch long. I decided to order the part(which was a sunday). The part was on my door step by tuesday morning( with standard shipping). I had the part reinstalled in 10 minutes. The hardest part of the whole job was getting all the slats on the filter to line up with the ones on the cover to be screwed onto it. They need to be lined up or the screws will not go in properly, which would be a whole different bag of worms. The job was seriously simple and the ease of ordering and receiving the part made it that much better. Thank you for being a great service to the service industry.
