Latch handle was broken...couldn't open door
Pried door open. First ordered the wrong part...latch assembly with no handle. Reordered proper part and installed it in no time. Ordered regular shipping (cheapest) and in both instances parts were there in two days via Fed Ex. Very quick getting the parts to me.
Removed half of the screws on inside of door and used pliers to unhook assembly from the two power connectors and then popped new one in place by hand. All repairs should be this easy. I will use this company again for all appliance parts needed.

The handle that operates the latch to open the door was broken
The latch that opens the door to the diswasher was broken. It became difficult to open the dishwasher door.

A quick search on the internet using the machine make and model took me to Partselect.com. Another quick seach of the exploded views of my dishwasher gave me the part number and a few more clicks had it on order.

I recieved the part buy the end of the week. and had it installed within 15 to 20 minutes and I was up and running.

What a deal!!! Thanks

Dishwasher door hard to open
Simple repair. First and most important: Turn off the power at the circuit breaker panel. Next, remove 8-9 torx head screws holding the inside panel on the door. Pull the handle assy. away from the door and unplug the two electrical plugs from the handle. Mark or remember which side each goes on. Plug the two electrical plugs into the new handle assy. and place in back into it's position in the door and reassemble the door panel. Turn the power back on at the breaker box.

Dishwasher door was hard to unlatch
Unfortunately I’d done this repair before. It seems that this particular part has cheap plastic components inside and seems wear out every 2 or 3 years. The fortunate thing is PartSelect stocks this part, ships it quickly and it’s an easy repair. Just take the screws out of the inner door liner and pull out the latch, disconnect the wires and reconnect to the replacement and screw everything back like it was. Took me 10 minutes.

latch switch seemed to be stuck & when setting wash options when door was open, water would start to fill the washer
I removed the screws on the interior door cover plate, pulled the cover plate back which exposes the latch switch. I then pulled the two electric connectors off the switch, swapped out new switch, reconnected electric and put the screws back in. Simple repair which took not more than 15 minutes and solved the problem.

The top track rail broke so had to replace with new ones so we could slide the top rack in and out.
First emptied and removed the rack from the dishwasher. then removed the broken track rails. and the end posts from the broken track rails. Put one end posts in the track rail and then placed track rail onto rack and placed in the washer. Then placed the other end posts so the track rail would stay in place when pulled out.
That was it

Door would not open/latch pivot pin broken.
After prying open the door i removed the inner skin cover which did provide me access to the latch assy,2 additional screws and it was fixed.

This appears to be a problem with this apliance since it has done this before while under warranty

Dishwasher door would not lock on the dishwasher and water would spray on the floor when the dishwasher would cycle.
Took the door of the dishwasher apart and the replaced the lever assembly. The lever assembly does not come with a door handle, so you have to remove the old door handle from the old lever assembly and install the door handle on the new lever assembly. Installing the handle on the lever assembly was the hardest part, the rest of the installation was easy.

It was too easy.
Matching the part I had in my hand with the picture online was a cinch. Rec'd the latch in a few days, and installed it in minutes. Why did I wait so long to look it up and order? At least the kids think I'm a hero for fixing the dishwasher!

latch had broken off inside
removed all the torx screws that hold the inside panel to the door. Removed the latch/switch.[Don't forget to turn off the power] Could not remove the wiring harness from the micro switch so I removed the old micro switches from the old switch and moved them to the new switch, harness and all. repositioned the latch and reattached the panel.
there are two latches available. I ordered the wrong one at first. Got the correct one in just two days. Was able to return to wrong one for credit.
Great service. Glad I didn't call a repairman.

Latch was broken and door would not open
I had to push at the old latch with a screw driver to get the door opened and then removed about 14 screws and opened the back of the door, removed the two wires from broken latch. Replaced the wires to new latch, set in place and replaced the 14 screws closed the door and was is good as new.
Easy as pie.

latch handle broken
the removal of panel was simple, the removal of electrical connections was difficult even with a little wd 40 i was nervous when any metal part is attached to a plastic part. it didn't want to let go but my suggestion is to work the connecter back and forth forward and back to get it started then with a firm grip on the wire harness with pliers pull the two apart with pliers. good luck!!!

Dishwasher difficult to open due to broken latch
Disconnect power first. Removed all the screws on the inside of the door, pulled the inside part of the door away from the front part to gain access to the latch, disconnecting the wires was the most difficult part since the connectors didn't want to slide off the metal tabs very easily, replaced the latch and put everything back together. When I ordered the part, I wasn't sure if it was going to be just the handle, but I was glad it was the entire latch assembly.
