Dishes were not getting clean
Thank You PartSelect for making this repair project simple and stress free. The exploded diagram of the appliance was clear and consise. The parts list was very helpfull. Showing me which parts were the most replaced gave me the confidence to order, reducing the prospect of having to return items ( always a pain point ). Parts arrived in just a few days. Followed the instructions on the video. Dishwasher was back in operation in no time and passed an overly thourgh dish inspection. Your site is amazing and is on my favorites tool bar. Thanks Agian !!!

Dishwasher latch was sticking and eventually broke.
Repair is very simple. Make sure to unplug dishwasher or turn off circuit breaker to appliance before performing any work for safety. Open door and remove all Torx head screws holding inside panel to door (place them in a small cup or dish to avoid loss) and tilt up to gain access to switch. Remove connector on each side of old switch (may need to gently pry off with screwdriver), then attach connectors to new switch. Position inside panel back onto door ensuring it is properly seated all around especially near the base of the dishwasher to avoid any leaks. Tighten all screws again and reconnect plug or switch breaker on. Washer is repaired!

The dishwasher door was fitted with a plastic striker. It obviously wasn't meant to last, and eventually broke. This meant that the door would not shut properly, so I couldn't use the dishwasher.
I pulled out the dishwasher a little to expose the screw on the striker, (located on top of the dishwasher. The annoying thing was, it wasn't a regular screw, so unfortunately I had to go out and buy a torx screwdriver (which cost more than the new striker). It would have been so much quicker, and cost effective, if it had been a normal screw. Anyway, I completed the job and pushed the dishwasher back into place.

Broken latch
This was fantasticlly easy. Less than 2 minutes to remove the screws. Made a mark on each of the two wire assemblies to ensure proper replacement. Pulled off the wires. Connected the wires to the new assembly. Placed it into the opening and re-tightened all the screws. Probably five minutes! Works better than new. THANK YOU!

Leaking under right front by float switch
Unplugged the power cord and removed front toe kick panels. Used a small mirror to see the location of the screw holding the float switch in place and removed the screw, disconnected the float from inside the dishwasher removed the float switch and replaced. It was a simple repair and so far seems to have solved the leaking problem. There was some unusual wear to my old float and the switch looked like it may have been leaking a small amount as it had lime build up on the switch lever. The part came with an easy to follow instruction sheet. PartSelect has saved me money on repair work I thought I would not be able to do myself. The website is very helpful in resolving what he problem may be and what parts are needed. Fixed four other appliances using this site over the past few years and they ship quick.

Latch was broken
We moved into a rental house and the dishwasher latch was broken. We got permission from the landlord to repair it. Wife went online to find the part using the model number and the make. That was not easy. Finally found Part Select and then it got easier. The price point was good. The part came quickly and it installed well. My only wish is that it would have come with instructions. Other than that, we will use Parts Select again when we have the need! Mike R
