Dishwasher handle was broken
First I turned of the electric to the dishwasher. I unscrewed the hex shaped screws along the inside of the door. I carefully pulled the inner panel away from the door. I then removed the connections to the inner workings connected to the handle. They were hard to remove and took pliers and a lot of force to pull them off. I replaced the piece with the new one. I easily attached the electrical connections to the new piece and reattached the inner panel of the door. It was quite easy, and I am definitely not mechanically inclined.

Door Handle Broken
Turned off power to unit, removed tork screws on inner door panel, pulled switch/handle out. Pried connector from switches. Plugged switches into new part and reinstalled into door with tork screws. Turned on power. Easiest job I've ever done. Under 15 minutes! Found how-to on your site, big help! Even if you are semi handy it helps to have a reference to go to from other peoples experience on a particular job. Thanks zane wilson lake wales florida

broken wash impeller-washer did not drain properly
I took out the racks and disassembled the bottom assembly until I got to the impeller. Just replaced the part and reassembled. I used only a star shaped driver on all tightened pieces. It was very easy to do and I did not even need any advice/help from the hubby! Saved a whole lot of time and money doing this small repair myself. Thanks for fast service. I ordered part online Thur. late afternoon, and it arrived Friday.

Broken handle
I read all the repair stories online for this part#. The top story had exactly the right steps. I did the whole repair in less than 15 minutes. It took me longer to turn off the power to the dishwasher than it did to repair. I unscrewed the 11 screws around the edge on the inside of the door (used small electric screwdriver so that went really fast), and used the pliers to help disconnect the two wired connections. Connected the new latch and put back screws. Done. Sweet!

My customer service rep was top notch on the phone. Really patient and helped me figure out which part I needed. I would recommend to anyone.

Door wouldn't stay latched close
I removed 11 Torx screws from inside of the door, pulled inside and outside apart just enough to lift out the latch assembly. (It was held in place by 2 of the 11 screws already removed) i Pulled the 2 switch connectors off and left the door open a bit. After some Googling I found the COMPLETE part on your web site for the lowest cost! The picture showed that it even INCLUDED THE NEWER REINFORCED HANDLE. I ordered it on a CC with basic shipping on 10/12 AT 8 PM. It arrived 10/15 and I installed that same day in about 15 minutes. THANK YOU!

Door latch handle broke
Removed the stainless screws that hold the door and the panel together. Seperate the two,no need to remove or unplug anything else. Unplugged the two connectors on the old latch and plug them on the micro switches on the new latch and handle. Used a large flat blade screw driver to pry the connectors off, they are on real tight. Aleign the latch with the screws/holes in the white panel and put the two back together. Easy!!! Also, thanks to PartSelect for the great service, great parts, and best price ever.

Broken latch -door difficult to open
Flip off circuit breaker to dishwasher. Remove 11 screws holding inner door panel to door. Pull inner panel back to separate from door. Disconnect microswitch connectors from old switch noting location. Install new latch assy. It mounts with two of the door panel screws. Like others my plastic tabs were broken so I added some Silicone adhesive to give it a little more support. Reinstall the panel with the 11 screws. Turn the breaker on and you are done.

Door handle broken
First I located the electric breaker for the dishwasher and manually tripped it to the off position. Then I opened the dishwasher door and removed the eight "torx" screws around the inside door perimeter ( this allows access to the door latch assembly ). I then removed the wire connections that are on the left and right side of the door latch assembly (these are plug in connections but care must be taken to prevent breaking the pins that hold the microswitches in place). With the wires disconnected I discarded the old latch.
I then attached the two plug connectors on the new door assembly latch and carefully placed through the door opening and positioned the inside washer door to secure the door latch . I then replaced the eight torx screws and closed / opened the door to verify door latch worked properly. I then reset the electrical breaker and everything works fine now.
