Plastic door handle broken
Parts arrived quickly. Diagram and part numbers are confusing which caused a second order for the correct part-the handle attached to the switch assembly as one unit. It costs less than the sans handle assembly.
Installation quick and easy-remove door panel screws-set panal aside. No need to remove soap dispencer connection as there is enough wireing slack to get the panel out of the way. Remove wire clips from micro switches-note location of each pigtail and remove broken handle/assembly. Install new assembly and put all back together.

Broken Latch Assembly
Took the hex screws out that hold the inside cover on the door of the dishwasher. It exposes the latch assembly. (OH YEAH, TURN THE POWER OFF. UNPLUG, OF POSSIBLE, TURN FUSE BOX SWITCH OFF..CAN"T BELIEVE I FORGOT AND GOT I NICE LITTLE JOLT) Undo the two wire leads attached to the latch assembly. Put the new assembly in (Now it comes fully assembled) attach the wire leads, screw it back in and it's done. Piece of cake. Even the cust service rep was aware of this part..."oh yeah THAT piece". Guess they've had tons of problems with this part. But the price was right and install was absolutely no problem. I'll buy here again.

The latch had broken loose and the door had to be pulled open.
Turned off electricity to the dishwasher. Removed screws on the inside perimeter of the door. Latch assembly is held in place by two of those screws.

Disconnected two sets of wires and plugged into the new assembly. Lined up the holes and put the screws back in starting with the two holding the latch assembly.

dishwasher door handle broken
I read some stories on this repair and after I got the part I had no problem complete the job. only thing I can add on this you need to select the right part. from the drawing, I don't see the handle is part of the latch assembly, but it is. so just order the latch assmbly even you only need to replace the handle. In my case, I ordered the handle, and I received the latch assembly. the handle is a few bucks less than assembly. so thanks for partselect staff to send me the right parts for a few bucks less.

Latch handle failed
The repair was easy but you need a star driver. They didn't use Phillips or slot screws. I took all the screws off the inside of the door and the latch was easily revealed. It replaced easily, and the new one works fine. All I can say is - the latch assembly was made of plastic at some stress points. The design engineer should be shot. These should have been metal. I noted in the new latch assembly, they have improved the design but it's still plastic. A few more cents in manufacturing would prevent this failure. I expected more of Maytag in terms of design integrity. But, it's the only failure I've had with the unit.

The pump would not drain the dishwasher.
Removed the old part, which just snapped into place, replaced it with the new part that was sent by your company. Unfortunately, when the new part was plugged into the correct spot, it would not stop running. So all water that went into the dishwasher was pumped right back out. So obviously there must have been an addition issue with the dishwasher.

The door latch had broken
Per the reports of others, after turning off power to the dishwasher, I removed the 11 torx screws that attach the inner & outer panels of the door. Once the door latch assembly is visible, its important to remember the polarity of the wiring attached to it-
facing the dishwasher, black to the left, white to the right. As others reported, it does require some effort to disconnect the wires from the latch assembly, but not too much. These can then be attached to the new latch assembly.
Also, as others reported, there are plastic tabs that are guides to position the latch assembly, but they break off. I didn't find them necessary to the repair anyway, since two of the (11) torx screws for the inner panel will line up with the latch assembly to attach it.
I just put all the screws back in and restored the power (my dishwasher was hard wired in to its own breaker on my electrical panel). The latch worked properly, and the dishwasher operated accordingly when used the next time.

Latch handle broke
Order part from PartSelect.com and received it at my front door the next day, even though I opted for the cheapest delivery method !!
Removed 11 screws from inside door panel. Disconnected two wires on broken assembly and attached same wires to new assembly. Set new assembly in position, closed panel, replaced screw (do not over tighten), and in five minutes I was finished. The replacement part is a much improved design over the original.

Door handle broken
The video instructions were very clear and easy to follow. After turning off the power I removed all the screws and lifted the panel. As instructed I removed the electric connectors with a flat head screwdriver and reattached them to the new door latch assembly, screwed the panel back to the door and turned on the power. The new door latch seems to be a little sturdier than the original one, hopefully it will last longer. I didn't think it was going to be this easy. I haven't run the dishwasher yet,but I'm sure it will work fine.
