This hex nut is an authentic Whirlpool part that is sourced directly from the original equipment manufacturer, and will fit a variety of appliances including ovens, microwaves, refrigerators, air conditioners, and dishwashers. The float clip works in a humidifier to ensure the float functions properly. The float is located near the humidifier bucket and monitors the water level as it rises and the clip keeps it in place. The float makes sure the water level is balanced and does not over flow. This float triggers the flow switch to shut off.
