Inner Oven Glass broken

I removed two retainer screws which released the outside panel.
Next I removed 2 screws which hold the middle glass pane from one of its retainer brackets.
The was another panel with 4 screws to remove before reaching the final glass inner assembly.

Removed and replaced above named parts, rewired.Be sure to tighten all nuts that secure wires. I believe this is what caused the problem. read more

The oven door springs broke . Couldn't use oven because door wouldn't stay on.

The new hinges couldn't be used because there were no threads where the screws go into the bracket! What should have been an easy job turned into a frustrating day. My husband would have had to try to find a tap & die set to thread it. We took the springs off and used our old hinges. Very, very frustrating.
