Single Gasket Retainer Clip

This genuine OEM freezer gasket retainer clip is used on refrigerator freezers, and connects the inner door panel and door gasket to the outer door panel. The gasket is the rubbery strip that seals the space around the edge of the door to keep warm air out of the freezer. When the gasket is not working properly, you may notice an excessive frost buildup or reduced cooling. If the gasket is hanging loosely from the door, the issue could be with the retainer, or the clip fastening the retainer to the gasket, and it should be replaced.

If the shelf in your fridge is unstable, replacing this part could be the solution. This is a door/light switch and it is a replacement part for your refrigerator. This part is activated as you open and close your refrigerator door. When the switch is activated and the door is open it will turn the light on inside your appliance, and when you close the door the switch will deactivate the light. We loosened all the screws around the door and slid out the old gasket.

I unplugged electrical cord to the freezer. I removed the cover to the relay and load protector. I labeled the wires and made a diagram on the proper placement of each wire going to the relay.
