Gasket

The gasket is also known as a tailpipe gasket. This part works in garbage disposals and is responsible for preventing leaking. The gasket is black in color and is two inches in diameter with a hole in the middle. First run the water from your sink and determine where the leak is coming from. The gasket is located between the sink and the garbage disposal connector underneath the sink. Over time this can become damaged and cause leaking. You will need to detach the garbage disposal to get access to the gasket to replace it. This product comes directly from the manufacturer and is a genuine product.

Was amazed the gasket was delivered the day after I ordered it! Removed old gasket and cleaned out what I thought was accumulated waste. Replaced gasket and ran water, had a flood.
