The top spinner fell off and would not snap back on
Bought a replacement spinner which came with the litte round connector piece. The connector piece had worn down (the spinner probably got caught on a tall glass or pot). Anyway, for ease of access, you remove the bottom and top racks, unscrew two screws (one on the top and one on the back of the dishwasher that holds the water piping). Then pull the water piping assembly down from the top until you can remove the round connecting piece. The tip of mine was worn off which is why the spinner would not stay on. Once you replace the round connector piece, snap the spinner into it, put the screws back in and you are done. Very easy fix for about $22 including S&H.

Dishwasher leaking at the door
The *great* PartSelect how to video convinced me that I could fix this myself. I removed the old, worn out door gasket, noting how the old one fit into the groove. I cleaned the groove really well to make sure I got any gunk out. I just pressed the new gasket into the groove with my fingers, then used a wooden chopstick to press it in securely. Super, super easy! .) (I did not need to replace the strike plateAnd, the hint about how fast standard shipping is was a nice touch. Thanks so much!

The upper wash arm mount broke
The part isn't the same as the old one, but you could see how it worked easy enough. Problem was, once I got the part, it didn't screw on like the old one, it clipped to the rack. Nice! ...except that it's designed for the narrow spacing on the rack, but, if I used the narrow spacing on the rack that held the clip well, then it wasn't in the right location to hold the spray arm to the water hose. The solution has to be attended to frequently, to remount it, but that's not a big deal (until it breaks), but the remount is necessary because you have to span a broader distance than it's designed to, by about a quarter inch. It works, but it doesn't. Just because the unit's pretty old, but it still works GREAT!

Unfortunately, a mouse had made its home on top of our surround insulation. For hygienic reasons, I replaced the surround.
1. Turn off the electrical switch that powers the dishwasher. 2. Open the door of the dishwasher and find the two phillips head screws that secure the top of the dishwasher to the kitchen counter. 3. Remove the screws. 4. Gently move the machine side-by-side a bit while pulling it out onto the kitchen tile (be careful, the water-supply hose, electric cord, and dishwasher drain hose may not be long enough to allow you to pull it out very far - don't break or kink the hoses). 5. Remove (pull off) the black plastic fastener located on the bottom/rear of each side of the dishwasher. 6. Remove the old surround. 7. Lay the new wrap in place and secure with the two plastic fasteners. 8. Push back into place, secure the two screws, check your hoses.

No power to control panel on the door
First checked my house cb's. Then visited this site and found in troubleshooting guide that the problem was 6x% likely the thermal fuse; location was shown on parts guide. Used my multimeter to verify that fuse was open. Order new one from your site. Installed after receipt and all is well. Most difficult part was getting the door panels in position to reinstall sheetmetal screws. Hope this helps.

Old gasket was leaking
Removed the old gasket by hand by pulling on the end of the gasket and slowly removing the gasket. Wipe the are with a clean damp rag to remove any soap or debris buildup. Follow the instruction that accompany the gasket, slowly insert the gasket and do not stretch the gasket as you push by hand into the slot. Run the dishwasher with a rag at the bottom. I had to run it twice, I believe the gasket has to relax and seal the door from leaking. GOOD LUCK, you probably saved yourself a lot of money in service repairs costs.

small leakage of water from bottom right door.
I replaced the door gasket. This was easily done. First I removed the old gasket by simply pulling it out, no tools needed. The gasket is simply resting in a slot. Then I installed the new gasket by pushing it into the same slot, after I had thoroughly cleaned it with vinegar. I did not need to trim the gasket at all; it fit perfectly.

No water pressure in upper or lower diswasher spray arm assemblies
The Parts select video instructions for this part are pretty much spot on. The grinder assembly broke where it attached to the circulator pump impeller shaft. The screen became totally clogged and thus no water pressure to the diswasher spray arms. The only thing Id add would be to verify the circulator pump impeller is in good shape after removing the old grinder assembly and that you are able to rotate it by hand in case the impeller motor itself is seized or the impeller is jammed. Once the grinder assy was replaced good water pressure and cleans like a champ.
