My burner will not turn off I have had to flip my breaker to keep it from heating back up can I repair it myself or can I just turn that burner off and not use it
For model number 79041073101
Hello Melody, thank you for the question. Based on the description that you have provided, we would recommend checking the control board, part number PS3495637, to fix the issue. It sends electronic signals to the burners when you select the cooking time or temperature. In order to check or replace the control board, you just need to remove the top rear panel. You will have access to the control board. We hope this solves your problem!

I got a F10 error runaway temp. Now my oven is a slide in range the buttons are at the front of the oven not the back. Is this where the control board is? I am to replace the board with the relation it. Is it in the front or back. If it’s in the back how do I pull the oven out. The front of the stove has two legs that are on top of stacked wood pieces. Won’t the glass top break if it becomes unbalanced? It’s been two years and I can’t afford to have someone come out and repair it so I’m doing it myself but am terrified it’s going to break.

Hi Tiffany, thank you for contacting us. If you see F10 on your range, it means that your electronic control board has detected a runaway temperature. It is likely in the oven sensor that will need to be replaced. Check it using a multimeter. If it is fine, then you will need to replace the control board, part number PS3495647, located on the top front of the oven under the control panel. You just need to remove the control panel and replace the control board. We hope this helps, good luck with this repair!
