I didn't realize there was a spoon in the blender and it made a total racket as the blades and housing were falling apart. The blender jar, blades and housing are all one piece so my less than 2 month old blender was completely trashed. coupling got chewed up

to replace the coupling you take the bottom off the blender and loosen the screws that hold the bracket and fan -then comes the hard part-the shaft screw is bolted through every bit of the guts then into the coupling.
