coupling got chewed up

to replace the coupling you take the bottom off the blender and loosen the screws that hold the bracket and fan -then comes the hard part-the shaft screw is bolted through every bit of the guts then into the coupling. It is a lefthand thread. I ended up having to fabricate a piece of metal that slipped into the top of the coupling (in the teeth.) Then I secu... read more

No installation required. The new collar came with the sealing ring, locking collar and blade assembly - everything needed in one piece. I just put it on the base and attached the pitcher. read more
