58635 Refrigerator - Instructions

Removed the door by taking 3 screws out of the top and lifting straight up, then replaced with the new parts and very easily replaced the door, worked ike a charm, if i didn't know any better it was like factory new

Emptied the door.
Removed the door, top bolts first.
Lifted out the door.
Installed new cam at the bottom.
Set the door back in place.
Bolted the top hinge back on.
Smooth!

The part came quickly and was the right one. You can't imagine how many outfits lose it here. Well done and thanks.

inserted a knife between the switch and the plastic interior in order to pop the switch out.
then took off the 2 wires on the old switch put them on the new switch and reinserted the switch into the plastic interior.

Removed the ice brucket,
Removed the light shield by releasing one screw using a nutdriver.
Replacing the bulb and reinstalled the light shield.

I was told to order the run capacitor and the technician thought it would repair the refrigerator; but it did not. The appliance technician had to take the run capacitor off and install what he called a "hard start" and the refrigerator is operating right now.

Had to get the clips onto the plastic knob, which once done the clip would go in the hole which held the kick plate on, had a problem getting the clips on, no directions, finally h
I held the clips closed and hit them with a hammer and they went right on. I was afraid that I would break the knob where the clip went which had happen and is why I needed a new kick plate. A short description of how to do this would had been very helpful.

removed back cover, removed fan motor and replaced with new one. connected new power wires. worked right away

Just screwed the two parts together with the original screws (thankfully I had the presence of mind to save) and replace in the refrigerator! Being able to reorder parts after so long was wonderful. Thank you.

I removed the switch housing (4 screws), replacing the switch in the housing was a snap. It took 5 minutes, cost $8 and light works like new!

Why didn't I order this part and do the repair earlier? Very simple.

Pop off six mounting screws and the ground screw. Remove the fan blade and reattach. Reinstall. Save yourself big bucks.

Very simple fix, remove 3 screws, two connectors to the old switch

Removed top hinge cover and socketed out hinge nuts. Lifted door off bottom hinge. Socketed out broken bottom cam and replaced with new. Reset door with someone lifting and the other guiding. Reattached top hinge and cover. Voila.

Popped off the grill via the one remaining clip. Used a flathead screwdriver to pop the old, broken clip off. Then popped the new clip on to the holder. Done!! Super easy. Wish I had done it 2 years ago when the thing first broke instead of trying to jury-rig it!

Most difficult part was finding where they hid the defrost timer. (it is in the left front under the fridge behind the kick panel.) just unscrew the two fastener screws from the front, tilt fridge up on one side, slide timer bracket back and remove. Unplug and remove timer from metal bracket. Replace timer and remount bracket.

The light rocker switch wasnt working. I found the part on the web site. It was so easy. I used a screw driver to pop out the old one and pop the new one in. It took 5 min. Thanks!!!
