I thought, OH NO! I'll have to hunt and likely never find a replacement. I found a grate at Partselect in less than 5 minutes, phoned to reassure myself about the size and fit, the grates arrived very quickly, look and fit perfectly! Efficient, courteous fast service. It doesn't get any better than that.

Turned off breaker for range. Removed 4 phillips screws on control panel, tipped it forward and rested it on top of partially open oven door. Removed knob and nut on old switch. Moved wires, one at a time from old to new switch. Put new switch in place, tightened nut and pushed on knob. Put control panel back in place and installed 4 screws... piece of cake.
