drum not spinning when dryer on
The removal of the front door assy was very easy after I popped up the top cover with a putty knife.Once removed it was easier to replace belt and idler assy with dryer on its backside.the only trick was to get looped thru idler roller and then fasten bracket in slot on bottom of dryer.also the instructions were well written which made re-assy much simplier.

Broken Dryer Belt.
I came home from work to notice the dryer singing a different tune than usual. I opened the door and noticed that the tub wasnt turning. I popped the top of the dryer up to find a disentigrated belt. Fired up the computer and in a few minutes had ordered the $8 ($15 including shipping) replacement belt. 3 Days later took the shopvac and cleaned up the lint and broken belt pieces. Installed the new belt and was back in business with my 8 year old dryer. ** The only complaint comes from my wife who got her hopes up for a new front load washer and dryer** thanks partselect for saving my wallet in more than one way!

dryer ran 5-10min,then stopped until it cooled off
Remove two screws on top holding the filter frame.Use flat screwdriver to snap top at front off front panel.Swing top up and secure it against wall or tie in place. Remove screws holding front panel and kick panel to side panels.Did'nt remove back panel.Remove drive belt from pully wheel and then use belt to lift out drum.Use open end wrench on motor pully at rear and I used a socket set on the front of motor,Push down on wrench, counter clockwise, and hold the front pully from moving mine came right off. My dryer is over 10 yrs so the electric conection was changed but the instruction sheet explained how to change the wires, just follow the wire color, easy.

A lot of noise coming from the front of the dryer.
After removing the front of the dryer it was evident that the blower boss had broken where the motor shaft comes through and is attached. I removed a few more parts to make the blower more accessible and removed it. I then machined a new boss and attached it to the blower and reinstalled it.I then did a quick continuity check on the three thermostats since the dryer was already apart.I discovered one was faulty and ordered a new one from you. That repair took all of five minutes. The irony of the whole thing is that while I was ordering the thermostat from you,I asked out of curiosity,if the blower was still available. As it turns out it still is but the new machined part worked out great and the dryer was back up and running in no time.

Thanks again,
Dave

The dryer door catches needed to be replaced
I watched the video provided first to get an idea of how it should go. The dryer I have had a different kind of door, so those instructions didn't apply. You probably don't want to publish the way I ended up fixing it, but it did work eventually. Saved me over $500!! Thank you!

Noisy dryer
Ordered new rollers from PartSelect. I followed the video to replace the rollers. Everything went well. The video did not show how to put the belt back on. I then went to replace broken belt and there was the way to go through the pulley. Works great with no noise. Just like new. Thank you

Broken dryer belt
First and foremost, PartSelect is awesome! I placed the order on a Monday afternoon with regular shipping, and I had the belt Tuesday evening. Total repair involved removing several screws to open the top and front of the dryer, then installing the new belt. Pay close attention to the the dryer seal - make sure this is completely set. This was a very, very easy repair, and it cost me less than $20 for part and shipping! Also, the video on the PartSelect site shows exactly how to make this repair, and was very helpful.

dryer sounded like it had a boot tumbling in it.
layed the dryer door side down, took 6 nuts off back metal panel, then took the bolt off at bottom and reached in and pulled drum support rod loose, removed old roller, installed new roller, reached in set drum support rod back into hole where the threads were showing on the outside where the nut was then put back on and tightened back up, put a pair of vicegrips underneath on rod to hold in place while tightening up nut, placed cover panel back on with screws and now it works like a new one, runs very quiet. Cost was 25 dollars for part nothing to do it ourselves. We priced new dryers that size they're well over 400 dollars. Easy REpair!!

broken wheel
I had purchased a motor for the dryer first. The blower wheel broke while I was trying to take the motor off from the blower wheel. Installing the new wheel was fairly easy once I took the blower cover of at the back of the dryer and literally brake the wheel of the motor shaft.

Door latch broken
For 2 years, I propped a broom stick against my dryer door to keep it shut while it was running. Last Sunday night, I decided that it was about time to fix it. I found the PartSelect site, which was extremely easy to navigate, and ordered a replacement kit. It arrived in 2 days via Fed Ex and actually contained extras of each of the 2 components, in slightly different sizes. It took me about 10 minutes of eyeballing the parts to figure out how to place them and about 30 seconds to install the new latch parts. They fit perfectly. Great site, great service, I would highly recommend this site.
