Auger drum broke
Removed ice bin and separated parts. However, instructions would have been nice that the part to unscrew was the opposite of normal screws. Not righty-tighty, but righty remove. After I figured that out, disassembly, reassembly, and installation went smoothly. It was a pleasure to deal with your company!

Feeder drum in icemaker broken
We used the video out on YouTube to show us how to replace the drum. It made the repair go so fast that we were amazed that two klutzes could do this repair! Remove the screws that hold the housing together. Place the screws in a cup to keep everything together. Remove the spiral unit and the plastic sleeve. The hardest part was removing the auger nut on the assembly. Just remember it is a left hand turn. After that, remember sequence of the blade assembly. The video suggested that you take a picture and that would help remembering the sequence of the blades. Follow the video!

non functioning light switch in fridge
This repair was super easy. there are only 5 screws to remove to get at the defective switch. 3 in the housing where the light bulbs are and 2 in the front trim piece where the cooling adjustment dials are. I never did unplug the fridge ,but probably should have although nothing bad happened. I removed all 5 screws using a 1/4" socket ( a nutdriver would work well also). there is also a small dia rod that comes down from the coolness adj. wheel that when you re-assemble goes though the middle of the wheel. The switch has only 2 wires that clip on with the push on flat type connectors. Very simple. I removed the wires and then the switch can be removed( it is only held in by 2 squeezable side clips). I put the new switch in and connected the wires , checked to see that the lights went on and off. which they did. then just put the screws back in.....done. also I would like to say that when I ordered my switch it came super fast. I ordered it online at 11:00am on a tuesday and it was on my doorstep in wisconsin by 10:00 am the next day...Thanks

Refrigerator/Freezer would not maintain temperature
Watched the video, followed the instructions, took my time and paid attention to what came off where, and viola. Not quite as easy as the guy in the video, but then it was my first time! Bottom line is: it worked. Refrigerator/freezer now maintains temperature exactly as expected, and I saved hundreds. Thank you!

Snapped the piece on in seconds!
I just want to share with everyone what a great experience this was. I called on a Monday night after the bottom shelf in our fridge broke and juice had just spilled everywhere. Needless to say I was annoyed so when I actually got in contact with a person instead of a machine I was excited. I did not get her name but she quickly helped me locate the model number, and even described the shelf to ensure it was the correct piece. She gave me the price, took my CC#, and within minutes the part was ordered. I could not believe that the part arrived the very next day - less than 24 hours. I was very impressed. THank you for making everything so easy. A new loyal customer!

Replaced Ice Bin Auger Drum
Before purchasing the part, I watched the ParSelect installation video. The video gave me the insight as to my ability to replace the part and the correctness of the part for my ice bin. The video made it extremely easy and quick to replace the auger drum (propeller looking thing that pushes out the ice).

Broken outlet nozzle
Replaced the output nozzle and hose that goes through the door and down under the frig.Wasnt sure if I could push new hose down through door so hooked the two hoses together so I could pull the new hose into place. To hook them together i took a short screw, cut off the head and screwed it into both hoses and put one wrap of tape around it. Pulled through the first time.

Refrigerator side of side by side was freezing food
We bought the fridge used and immediately see why it was being sold. But ordered a new thermostat and with Part Select's instructional video was able to replace the thermostat. I should mention it was my first attempt making any repairs to a refrigerator. It was fairly straightforward project.

Old Ice Bin Auger had broken apart and would no longer dispense ice.
First of all when deciding where to order part from I could have saved a couple of bucks on another site but I chose PartSelect because of the video showing exactly how to install the part. When installing the new part it went in exactly as described. Part seems sturdy. Ice bin now works like new again. Hopefully it will last at least as long as the original. Part was good, delivery was quick. I will look here again if I need more parts for any appliance.
