Oven would not heat
Ordered oven Igniter kit PS1573892 which cost $73.00. Received the kit with instructions easy to follow to install. I was surprised how easy it was to repair, with the help of my wife we did the job in about 2 hours, the oven now works great. I really saved a bundle of money doing this myself, a local repair service wanted $114.00 for the same part and $200.00 labor to install and this is the gospel truth. I am 96 years old. Light lens broke when self clean cycle was used
I searched Whirlpool, Sears and random appliance stores and Part Select was the only company to have the lens available. All other manufacturers said the lens was no longer manufactured as a stand alone piece and I would have to buy the entire light assembly. Thank you Parts Select!!!!!

F2 error code, beeping, and oven wouldn't light
I had to pull the range out from the wall and loosen the rear cover to free the connector for the sensor as it got stuck on a corner guide. Put the new sensor in, rear cover back on, range back in place and tested the oven. Oven heats fast now and keeps a more even temp. Makes me wonder how long I was trying to cook with a bad sensor.

oven temperature sensor - F-4
Ordered the oven sensor. Two screws to remove to replace old sensor. Since this was a slide in unit, you had direct access to the wiring harness. Used the adaptor. Total repair time about 20 minutes. A very easy do-it-yourself project.

power boost burner went up and all my burners got very rusty on the underneathe side
We were at a loss for a long time without my boost burner and then while checking all the rest of the burners my husband discovered that all of them had a massive amount of rust on the underneathe side of the burners and that worried me. Well as usual my husband took care of my worries when he discovered Parts Select. We both were pleasantly surprised when we found out that you had what we needed. And the installation was less than 5 minutes, WOW, THAT WAS GREAT! Thanx a million!

Oven burner only came on sporadically and would rarely heat up.
I believe my problem was both the dual outlet safety valve and the igniter It would glow but the gas wouldn't come on or if it did it was puffy not steady. Replacing the igniter was easy with a nut driver but the dual outlet safety valve took some time to get everything lined up. Also they make special Teflon tape for gas repairs which none of the other articles spoke about.

Ignitor replacement on older Jenn-Air range
The oven in my Jenn-Air range started to leak gas whenever I turned it on and a visit from the local gas company indicated the ignitor had probably gone bad. I had assumed the older range wasn't worth repairing but didn't want to spend $800+ for something in otherwise excellent condition. Internet research yielded lots of tutorials on how to make the swap and I decided to see if I could get the old part out before going any further. It wasn't too tricky except one of the two screws holding the ignitor in place had stripped and it was in a location that was very difficult to reach. I used a part of tin snips to cut around it. The new part ordered here came very quickly and exactly matched what I had removed; the wiring harness fit perfectly. It was a snap to put back in and now the oven works perfectly. All for under $50.

Oven would not heat
My oven would not come on so my wife could bake a cake. The glow coil that ignites the gas for the oven had burned out. The replacement went very easily and fast. This web site was very helpful with all the information I needed to get it up and running again. I enjoyed the cake she made after I got it fixed.

Used stove was missing 1 leg.
My used stove had been dropped by the previous owner. While I could live with the minor scratches on one side the wooden shims holding up one corner were annoying. A new leveling leg was less than $2. I used a pair of needle nose pliers to straighten the mounting hole and screwed the new leg in. This used stove was originally $2000 but I bought it for $999. the new leg plus shipping was about $10. What a deal.
