Water fill tube was broke at the 90° in back of the frige
Water was already off. All I had to do was pull the fridge away from the wall, remove two screws that hold the fill tube onto the back of the frige, then remove the fill tube. Install the new fill tube, reinstall the two screws. Had to cut the water line straight and clean, slip on the new Compression nut and farrell and insert into the new fill tube, tighten-up, good-to-go.

Wire shelf support rod broken
In our new house we found that one of the wire racks supporting a slide-out glass fridge shelf was broken. The cylindrical support rod at the back we unglued/unattached. I tried to fix it with super glue (came apart), and then metal epoxy (worked at first, but shelf collapsed under load). A new wire frame fixed it with zero tools. Problem solved! Note: I had problems matching the exact fridge model at first. I contacted Kitchenaid support and they sent a pdf with every part labeled. It was then easy to find the part on PartSelect. I appreciate the high quality images that let me confirm the match visually.

ice door would not seal warm air out & ice maker would freeze up.
After reading (Warm air getting into freezer) by David from Chesterfield, MO & (Ice door was broken) by Ray from San Antonio, TX, it was easy to follow their instructions (especially- Patience is a virtue! and go step by step. Thanks to both for their detailed instructions, this retired mechanical engineer was able to 'get it done'. Stan from Denison, TX

I just slid the old one out and slid the replacement in. Although PartSelect warned that the item was a substitute for the original drawer model, the crisper drawer supplied seemed identical to the original to me. I couldn't be more pleased.

The drawer broke
I opened the box. That was the hardest part. I slid in the new drawer. I was a little distressed that my model # was not listed, but the pictures on your site were very helpful. Thanks

Ice dispenser and water dispenser not working
Was surprisingly easy. Hardest part was taking the cover off the front to get access to the control bracket and switches. Can be done by prying two notches on underside of cover until they pop. Then slide up and off. Once off I could immediately tell the plastic clips on control bracket were broken. So replacing fixed that issue. My other issue was the ice dispenser door would not stay closed and sealed. I noticed that the plastic hook that holds metal dispenser pin in place was broken. Had trouble finding that part online so I superglued it in place and that has held it just fine. Now both my ice dispenser and water dispenser are working after buying a $10 part. This site is awesome. I am sure I would have paid $200 for this from a repairman.

The door would not close completely
First, removed the top hinge (3 screws), then lifted the door off the bottom hinge. Replaced the Cam on the bottom of the door and then the Cam on the bottom hinge (one screw for each). Placed the door back on the bottom hinge, reinsert the top hinge into the door and secure top hinge to the refrig with the 3 screws original removed. EASY!!

Ice dispenser and crusher stopped working.
The how to video told me what to check to determine what part was probably broken. Then another video showed me how to take it apart. It gave me the name, number, and a photo of the part. I ordered it from Part Select without even checking with another retailer since they gave me the information to do it myself, saving me lots of $ for repair labor costs! Then I watched the repair video again and put it back together! It works! It was simple and I really appreciate this service! Thank You
