Drive Motor Failed, No Agitation
Website very helpful in visually locating and purchasing the part. Utube video also helpful. Took 30 minutes to disasemble and about 1 hour to reassemble. Works great! Biggest issue is laundry rooms are small spaces to work in and washer/dryer units are big! Thanks bill

Washer wouldn't agitate
My wife actually figured out the problem, ordered the part, which came quickly. I watched the video and fixed the problem. I'm sure this saved us a lot of money. Instead of a technician coming out and replacing the part for about $200, it cost us $25 and an hours work. Thanks. You'll be hearing from me for future repairs!

Upper part of agitator would not turn
I could not separate the upper part from the lower part of the agitator as easily as it was shown on the video. Then I realized I would have to physically cut the horizontal tab of the upper agitator from the vertical tab of the lower agitator (they were manufactured as one part), and leave the vertical tab intact. Once I did that, I was able to remove the upper assembly and replace the worn out parts. I then installed the repair kit in the existing upper agitator, aligned the slots of the repair kit with the existing lower agitator vertical tabs and tightened the bolt. The machine is 22 years old! Works great!

Washer would not agitate or spin, but water would drain.
Super easy repair for my 20 year old washer. I have a really small laundry room and was worried about how much of an ordeal this would be. I had just enough room to remove the housing and get to the motor assembly without putting the machine on its side. The repair was just as shown in the video; 2 clips for the pump, 2 screws and 2 more clips to separate the motor from the transmission. I installed the new coupling and was doing a load of clothes in less than 30 minutes. Great service, fast delivery and low price. I will be coming back to PartSelect for my next repair.

Machine would not get up to speed on spin cycle.
Started by unpluging and disconnected water hoses.Removed agitator retaining bolt and pulled off. Tipped machine onto a support on it`s front side. Unplugged motor connector and removed drain hoses from pump.Removed the three motor bolts and rotated and pulled out motor and shaft. Removed retaining clip and installed new clutch assembly. Plastic clutch drive looked ok but since it was apart removed retaing clip and changed it too. Slid shaft and motor assembly back into machine and reconnected everything, works like a new one.

Washer quit spin cycle
Being 77 years old an use a wheel chair it took longer than when I was younger but even so it all went well. I removed top control panel, unplug wire connectors, pulled case away so I could lay machine back, remove pump retainers, motor retainer bolts then retainers. then pried coupling apart and installed new one which is better made with metal insert so I had to drive it on, the new switch was an unplug connector and ground screw simple thing then put case back on, snap clips in place, hook connectors up & screwed controls down. Thanks

There was a loud bang, the smell of burnt rubber, and the washer tub stopped rotating, although all other functions seemed to still work.
Flipped the machine on its front, noticed a pile of black rubber dust, identified where the dust was from. Took some time moving pieces around to get access to the coupling. Finally got it off and saw that 4 of the 6 plastic pins that hold the rubber piece had snapped off. Ordered the part and waited a couple of days (the site said 5-8 days or something but it only took 2). Wife got tired of broken washer spread all over the place but I didn't want to move it until I got the part. It was more challenging to get the part in than it was to take it apart because there's not much room to get your hand where it needs to be. I ended up flipping the machine a few times until I got it where gravity was pulling the motor down, giving me enough access to put the part in. My biggest fear was that the hoses weren't tight enough and that I'd have to take it out again, but it was fine and everything's worked great since.

did not spin all the water out of clothes (clutch was slipping)
followed repair instruction,( bought on line and down loaded ) some instructions were unclear but when you have the machine apart its obvious. your parts breakdown helped more than the instructions once the cabinet was opened.
