Starting by me making a substitute prong to keep the stove working while the part this coming by mail. was a piece of cake.

This worked out GREAT. We were about to purchase a new range when I found the needed parts were available. The stores we had contacted had told us our range was too old to have parts available. I had no problem with installing the receptacle at all. The pans went in easly as excepted. My wife is happy with her NEW arrangement. She does not need to learn how to operate a new range. simply remove the burner take out the drip pan and bowl individually. Install the new one and replace the burner. no tool was used.

Unplug stove from outlet!! Removed screws (Phillips head) from prior element and pulled out enough to slip of the red and white wires. Keep in mind which side which is on and take old element out of oven. Put new element in and attach wires back on the same sides. Push back in and use screwdriver (Phillips head) to lift insulation to push wires and element prongs back. Put screws back in, close oven door and plug stove back in. Tested and works great!

The problem I have with changing the bulb is my microwave is an overhead one and therefore I cannot tip it on its side to easily replace the bulb. I have to drop the lid down and carefully install the new bulb from underneath.

Removed the glass cover and replaced the bulb. Very simple.

The repair itself is really quite easy. Cut the wires, strip the ends and attach the new receptacle with wire nuts. The hard part was getting to it. My cooktop is about 30 years old, so I had to wade through piles of nasty built up grease. Some of the sheet metal screws were unworkable, so I had to cut them off with a Dremel tool. Not a pretty picture, but that's how repair work is on old stuff.

The video on your website showed me how to take out 1 screw, cut the existing wires and strip the ends. The kit came with 2 porcelan wire nuts to re-connect the wires and it was done. Remove heat coils, take body of coil inserts out, remove screws from body, cut old receptacle out, tie new recptacle wires to the old piece of left over wires using wire nuts, and reassemble body, insert heating coils and test.

We just installed the new rack in the oven. The amazing thing (after many unsuccessful attempts to find the correct rack) was having a friend recommend partselect.com. The gentleman I spoke to was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and efficient. We had our new rack 2 days after placing the order. We thought that kind of service didn't exist any more! I removed the burners and then the older drip bowls of the cook stove--and then I put on the new drip bowls and put back on the burners. My mechanical skills were sufficient for the replacement of the drip bowls.

Slid oven out from counters. On each side there are 3 screws on the front and three screws on the back holding the side piece on. Once off, the spring was very easy to get at and replace. I had only one broken, but replaced both anyways. I think it took longer to clean the sides of the oven that haven't been touched in years than to replace the springs. This job was very simple and easy.

Turned off the power. Pull the range away from the wall and removed the eight screws holding the cover in place. Carefully pulled the wires off the old switch. Removed the old switch and replaced it with the new. Put all the wires on and replaced the back cover and was done. Burner works fine. This part replaces a lot of different number switches.
