Door Shelf Retainer Bar Was Broken

I just snapped-on the bar to the refrigerator door. It took less than 30 seconds and the repair was complete! I am so happy!

There was not a full shelf in freezer area.

the bottom door shelf bracket had broken in half, i unsnapped the two halves, i ordered the replacment part from part select which had sent the part within the time frame they promised and just snapped the bracket back in place. the whole process took less then two minutes.

crisper glass shattered while cleaning

Insert new glass into slot. Took less than 2 minutes.

Evap coil was solid ice, fridge was 64 degrees.

Exactly as the video showed, except I had to take the evap coil cover off and use a hair dryer to thaw it out. It was still frosting up too much, so I ordered the thermostat as well. Both were really easy, once i saw the location of the defrost timer and the thermostat. Thanks for the great site, prices that put the big store to shame, and the good video too!

I ordered a new part and simply slid the drawer into place. The part fit as described and cost me less than another site selling Kenmore parts direct.

Popped the new retainer bar into place. Put the jars back where they belong. No worries! Couldn't have been less trouble.

Installed Metal hinge(old hinge was plastic) to take out sag of door.(painted the hinge color of refrigerator as hinge doesn't have plastic appearance cover )
