Broiler elements only comes on at times. Is there a special way to set for broiling?

Hello Wilson, thank you for your question. The Broil Element is PS249274. In the broil cycle the broil element may glow when on. However, if the broil element is on and heating, but not glowing, this is still normal operation. The bake element is not used during the broil cycle. We hope this helps.
